IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING MASCOTS

Millwall Football Club now offer the opportunity to pay to be a matchday mascot e.g. for a special occassion. HOWEVER, there is also still the free draw for all Junior Lions to get the chance to be a matchday mascot.

The only benefit of paying to be a mascot is that you "jump the queue". There are no additional benefits to this, as everything that you pay for to be a mascot is exactly the same as what you would get if you were selected in the free draw. To enquire as to the price and for more information, please contact the marketing/commercial office at Millwall. This is run independently to the Junior Lions, all money goes to the club, not the Junior Lions.

To enter into the free draw to be a Mascot you must be:

* A current member of the Junior Lions of Millwall FC and aged 4 or over

* You must fill in and send back a mascot form COMPLETE with membership number

* There draw is made from all the completed returned forms.
* If your name comes out of the draw you will be contacted by the Junior Lions Committee.

* If you fill in a form and do not put a membership number, the form will be thrown away and not put into the draw.

Please only fill in one form per member per season. Multiple entries will not be included!

You must get a parent or guardian to sign the form.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING BALLBOYS/BALLGIRLS

The Junior Lions have now been given a new room for the ballboys/ballgirls. For the start of the season, ballboys will meet Bob/Jay/Vicky outside W4 as normal, and be taken in through gate W14, as the new larger room is now in the Family Enclosure. We're also very lucky in that Macron, the official kit supplier to Millwall FC, has provided us with brand new tracksuits for the ballboys, as part of the sponsorship deal.

To enter into the free draw to be a Ballboy/Ballgirl you must:

*You must fill in the form and return it at the address stated on it.

*You must fill in your membership number

*You must be over 10 years old to be a ballboy or ballgirl for safety reasons

*You must get a parent or guardian to sign the form.

*The ballboys and ballgirls are drawn for each match from all the returned forms.
*If your name is selected you will be contacted by post with a letter stating when you are ballboy or ballgirl and all the details you need.

If you cant make it to the game(s) you have been selected for, PLEASE contact Bob Millward on the phone number provided as soon as possible and he will arrange a different match for you.

TO OBTAIN A MASCOT AND/OR BALLBOY/GIRL FORM PLEASE SEE A JUNIOR LIONS COMMITTEE MEMBER WHO WILL BE HAPPY TO HELP.

These letters were recieved after our visit to Blackpool on February 24th 2007...

Thank you for picking me to be the mascot at the Blackpool game. It was an experience and a day I will never forget.

P.S. If you see Willie (Donachie) say thanks for the wine gums and the drink.

Paul Richardson

The last time I saw a smile that big on Paul's face was at The FA Cup Semi Final at Old Trafford. THANK YOU.

Phil Richardson

This letter was recieved following our visit to Leeds before Christmas a few seasons back.....
Our son Harry was mascot for Millwall at Elland Road. It was the sort of day that only comes round once, and the opportunity to meet with sporting heroes is eagerly anticipated and savoured.
We would like to say a big thank you for giving Harry this opportunity , we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and were very impressed with the courtesy and kindness extended to us by the staff we came into contact with. Harry got to meet his heroes and get their autographs in the changing room, have a fascinating tour of the grounf and not to mention the pleasure we all got from Harrys appearance on the pitch with the other mascots, masterof ceremonies and the Millwall team before kick-off.
A particular mention to Dennis Wise who made a point of chatting to Harry whilst we waited in reception and Darren Ward who took care of Harry during the pre-match proceedings on the pitch. Harry can be a quiet and sensitive bit and this has helped boost his confidence no end.
Please extend our grateful thanks to the Junior Lions staff for helping to make such a lovely day that will stay with us always.
